Our Ceramic Coatings
Wheel Coatings
Ceramic coatings can protect multiple surfaces on your vehicle. While one coating could technically be applied on multiple surfaces, Gyeon’s coating line up consists of application specific coatings to achieve optimal protection all the way around.
The biggest different between a coating that is applied to paint, versus Q2 Rim, is the temperatures the coatings can withstand. As you brake, the dust that falls onto your rim can reach much higher temps than what your paint is exposed to just from the sun. Having a dedicated coatings allows for the higher temperature barrier, and overall, a better protected rim.

GYEON'S RIM
Durability: 12 to 24 Months
Gyeon’s Rim is a Temperature-Resistant rim coating that provides extreme ease of maintenance when it comes to cleaning your rims.
Compared to other Rim Coatings on the market, Gyeon’s Rim is extremely resistant to aggressive chemicals. This means that the coating can withstand harsh washing without being removed.
Our rim ceramic coating is a great service upgrade. This is an optional upgrade to any service package, and is included in our Level 2 & Level 3 Ceramic Coating packages. When booking any package, you can add this under service upgrades.
Our Process
Step 1 - Clean Rims
Cleaning rims is always our first stop. We use a delegated rim cleaner, a delegated tire cleaner, as well as 4 different detailing brushes for the job. We get around all spokes, lug nuts, calipers, as well as the barrels (insides of the rims) during this step.
Step 2 - Blow Dry
Most importantly, rims must be perfectly dry before the application can start. We blow dry around all the nooks and crannies of the rim, as well as the tires!
Step 3 - Optional Rim Removal
Our rim protection packages include the faces of the wheels. You have the option to protect the entire rim, which is where we would remove the wheels from the vehicle. This is to allow up to coat the barrels of the rims, and a more precise installation of the coating around the lug nuts.
Step 4 - Prep Wipe
This is the final step before apply the coating. We use a product from Gyeon called Prep in order to ensure all grease/contaminants are removed from the surface we are coating. We want to ensure the casting is being applied directly to the rim surface!
Step 5 - Apply Coating
The simplest part of the process is the actual application. This is a wipe on, and wipe off process, ensuring we hit all grooves, nooks, and crannies for a fully protected rim. From here, the vehicle must remain out of the elements for at least 12 hours for it to dry; the coating is fully cured in 14 days, which is when you can start washing with ease!
Step 6 - Tire Dressing
We apply our ceramic tire dressing whenever we apply any type of coating. This ensures that, just like you coating, the tires stay clean longer!
